Rosella Marian “Rose” Otto, 88 of Findlay, passed away at 7:52 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Heritage Nursing Home. She was born on March 23, 1936 in Longview, Washington to Frederick Peter and Louisa Virginia (Howison) Yost.
She married Robert Lee Otto, Sr. on October 20, 1955, they later divorced and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are sons, Steve (Lee Anne) Otto of Columbus, Ohio and Robert Lee (Cheryl) Otto, Jr. of Findlay; daughters, Karen Sue (Leroy) Reza of Findlay and Barbara (Charlie) Brandeberry of Arlington; sister, Doris Mosher of Marion; ten grandchildren, David (Tara), Kelli (Lucas), Jessica (Nick), Ben, Sarah (Chris), Ryan (Harley), Alyssa (Nate), Anna (Chase), Ethan (Kellie) and Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Elena, Nicholas (Boston) Reydon, Sierra, Caylee, Sophia, Harrison, Colton, Molly, Cole, Cora, Elliette, Jonathan, Daniel, Snow, Huxlee and Kinsley; one great-great-grandson, Cayson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Peter Yost, Jr. and a grandson, James.
Rose was a graduate of Meeker High School where there were only five students in her class. She was retired from RCA / Intersil.
Rose was a wonderful artist who shared her talents with family and friends. She made several custom banners for the sanctuary of her church. She loved to garden and work on her landscaping and refinish furniture. Rose also enjoyed garage sales and baking. She also was a homemaker who loved her family very much.
Visitation for family and friends of Rose will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Valentino officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery.
