DuWayne L. Chambers

DuWayne L. Chambers, 86, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at 1:25 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. DuWayne was born on October 18, 1937 in Findlay to the late Park and Doris (Litzenberg) Chambers. He was married on Christmas Eve of 1958, to Kathleen (Woerner) Chambers and she preceded him in death on November 21, 2020.

DuWayne is survived by three children; a son, Doug (Sherri) Chambers and two daughters, Deborah Chambers and Karla Hoop. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Lindsey Karle, Steven Hoop, Gage Chambers and Benjamin Chambers, and two great grandchildren, Landon Hoop and Alison Karle.

Besides his parents and his wife, DuWayne was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Park Chambers, a brother, Conard L. Chambers, and a sister, Sharon K.  Booher.

DuWayne was the owner of D.L. Chambers Company a well-respected accounting firm in Findlay for many years. He was a member of the Findlay First Church of the Nazarene.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024  at Kirkpatrick- Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. The funeral service, also at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, will begin at 1:00 p.m. following the visitation. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
